The company began to produce affordable polypropylene Beaulieu rugs. Few years later, Beaulieu became the first manufacturer to produce its own fiber - extruding polypropylene.
Since mid 80s, Beaulieu has begun to diversify its manufacturing operations, acquiring such famous broadloom manufacturers as Conquest and Interloom. In 2000, Beaulieu company launched its new marketing strategy of licensing brands for its floor covering products. Beaulieu is now extending its assortment of hand-made and hand-tufted Beaulieu rugs.
The collection of Beaulieu rugs includes twenty different patterns of hand-made wool rugs. In the collection, seven rugs are hand-tufted, eight are hand-tufted and hand-hooked; and five are hand-tufted and hand-hooked using “microhook” technique.
